Owl Prowl

The Owl Woods at Braddock Bay is well known as a migratory stop-over for Northern Saw-whet and Long-eared Owls. Join an experienced BBRR guide on this morning prowl to look for roosting owls and learn about their migration and natural history.

Group size will be kept to 6 or 8 participants per guide. Mask wearing will be suggested but not required, and social distancing encouraged when possible.  Trail is mulched and is easy walking, but can be muddy in spots so wear appropriate footwear. In case of bad weather, an attempt to reschedule will be made.

$5/participant. Space is limited to 8 participants on this date. Suitable for all ages. Pre-paid registration is required. Children under the age of 5 are free with registered adult (one under 5 child/adult).

Meeting spot is on Manitou Beach Road, just off the Lake Ontario State Parkway. Follow directions for The Owl Woods on our website: https://www.bbrr.org/directions/  Contact information@bbrr.org with any questions.
